Privacy Policy
This site compares humpback whale watching tours, combos and day trips around Samaná Bay. Reading it takes no account and reveals almost nothing about you. The little that is collected is explained below.
Booking A Trip
No payment is handled here. Every tour link opens a live booking page, and from that point the booking service's own privacy terms apply to your details, not this site's.
Cookies In Use
- Analytics cookies, where active, count visits in aggregate. No single reader is named or followed between pages.
- A referral cookie tells the booking service which site pointed you its way. It holds a tracking code and nothing beyond that.
Where Data Goes
There are no user accounts here and no booking records of our own. Messages to our contact address serve only to answer you and are never passed on.
What Is Collected
On its own, the site gathers very little. Standard server logs record which pages were requested, the browser type and a shortened network address, which keeps things working and helps spot errors. Nothing in those logs builds a profile of any reader.
If you write to the contact address, your message and address are kept only as long as replying and sorting out your question takes. They are never sold, rented or added to a mailing list.
Third-Party Services
- Booking services receive you when you follow a tour link. Whatever they collect from that moment on sits under their privacy terms, not this page.
- Opening a tour's live booking page connects you to an outside booking platform, which receives your request and any payment details directly.
- Traffic counters on this site record page views in aggregate only, with nothing that could identify any single visitor.
Your Choices
Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time, and the pages still work with them switched off. To ask what we hold, or to have a sent message erased, write to the contact address and the request will be actioned.
Children And Changes
This site is written for adults comparing whale watching tours in Samaná, and nothing is knowingly collected from children. Should these terms ever change, the newer wording is the one that applies.
